PostHeaderIcon Tony Stark, Pepper Potts and the Other Personalities of "Iron Man " Will Return to Make Smart Madness in the Superhero Follow up Movie to Be Released Soon

Precisely one month from Wednesday, Tony Stark , Pepper Potts and the other personalities of “Iron Man ” will return to make smart madness in the superhero follow up. And precisely a few days after that, we may have a new domestic theatre office record. Bleak himself, never low in polished self esteem, doubtless would not make such a bold boast. But it is completely possible. According to just-released tracking surveys, director Jon Favreau’s 2nd installment in the Marvel franchise is showing amazing levels of interest and awareness well before its opening this month. There are sufficient statistics prospects to believe the first-weekend gross could top the $158.4-million “Dark Knight ” haul, the record-holder for the largest ( non inflation-adjusted ) opening weekend. The last Iron Man DVD continues to sell well despite it being released quite a while ago.

Christopher Nolan’s Batman follow up grossed that amount when it opened over a three-day weekend in July 2008. The same spring / summer period brought the releasing of “Iron Man. ” The personality was new to main line audiences, star Robert Downey Jr. Had yet to engineer his Hollywood comeback and Favreau was riding a cold streak ( “Zathura : A Space Adventure, ” anyone? ). The film still opened to a magnificent $98 million, and went on to gross more than $318 million domestically. But this year’s follow up opening on May seven should pulverise that figure. Thanks partly to Downey, the Paramount-distributed film is drawing as much ( robust ) interest among girls over thirty as it is among ladies in their 20s, the tracking surveys show. Males in the teens and 20s are so keen on the film they might just as well dress in an iron suit.

About the sole folk who are not totally sold are teenager girls, but there are evidence of robustness there too.
